ADIDAS Runners Durban Mural

We were approached to do an Adidas Mural Illustration for their Gateway Flagship Store, one of ADIDAS’ biggest stores in Africa. The store is a forefront for new technology and is seen as a brilliant example of an Experience Store.

ADIDAS Runners Durban approached us with a very open brief, giving us free reign over the design, where we had the opportunity to interpret the brief in our own creativity and experience with ADIDAS Runners Durban. The brief was to create a mural that was uniquely Durban and represented the Community of runners found at ADIDAS Runners.

In the Adidas Mural Illustration we capture the comradery and spirit of community found amongst ADIDAS Runners Durban. This group of people are always in support of one another, helping each other achieve their goals and succeed in all aspects of life. The mural is representative of the diversity found in Durban and how running brings people from all walks of life together. The mural also represents the Golden Sunrises found at the Durban coast-line, along with palm trees that stretch from the Moses Mabhida soccer stadium onto the promenade, the starting zone that houses every ADIDAS Runners Durban run.
